Goethe-Institut Tallinn: Integration and media competence seminars in Estonia

We have been on tour in beautiful Estonia again, where Carsten was holding some workshops about competencies in new media. He also did an integration school workshop, where he produced a song with students from Tallinn and Narva. The subject was about the integration of the russian minority in Estonia and how it feels to have different mother tongue languages. It was a great intercultural experience and thanks a lot to all the participants and the Goehte-Institut Tallinn (Helen Aedla) and Michela Donda for the assistance.
The result of this intergration workshop is this song and video:

Goethe-Institut Tunis: On treasury of language discovery tour with PASCH

Institut FATIMA´s first travel to North Africa giving 3 wonderful Workshops in Tunis and Kairouan:

1.) A German Teacher's workshop in the Goethe-Institut Tunis where I could share my knowledge in digital music teaching with them focusing on mobile Technologies with the teachers and developing new teaching strategies for the modern German classroom.

2.) Two German students workshops: one at the Goethe-Institut Tunis and the other one in Kairouan, where we spontaneously wrote a German pop song text starting with a mind map, finding rhymes, cutting the texts into pieces, and then put the whole song text together and recorded it live in the classroom.

Teacherworkshops @ Goethe-Institut Prag - producing Songs in German lessons with the smartphone and Ipad

In Prague, we organized for the first time 2 Teacher workshops and 2 school workshops and my aim was to teach and develop with the teachers a strategy to produce an entire song with the tablet or smartphone in a German school lesson. The teachers were very motivated and some of them even created their own strategies to implement mobile technology in their classrooms.

With the students in the schools, we wrote a German pop songtext and produced afterward 2 songs recorded only with the Ipad. Here is the quite amazing result of what is possible in 2 hours of the workshop:

Ipadsong 1: "unsere Schule ist keine Coole" (weder Spüle noch Rettungsmodule)

Ipadsong 2: "Schau aus dem Fenster, Du alter Gängster"

Goethe-Institut Krakau Tournee Part 2

Our second Tour with the Goethe-Institut Krakau. This time we had a special mission: The participants of the school workshops selected their own subject our Tour song should be about: "EUROPE".
So we travelled 14 Days through the south of Poland and wrote altogether a kind of love song about Europe and recorded it in the classroom. The result is amazing. The students where singing so beautiful and good that it nearly sounds like a professional recording, hopefully this songs gets spread all over Europe: Poland 12 Points!

"Wir sind Euopa" (We are Europe):

Goethe-Institut Australia Song

finally the Australian song is finished, the students in school decided to do a song about Aboriginals and equality in their country. It was really not easy to make a POPsong about that, but like always we managed it. This time with a little help from the teachers also.

"wir sind alle gleich" (we are all the same, closing the gap)

Here are some Infos about the Tour and the teacher's workshops:

is driving the bicycle maybe the future of Europe? We are very happy to release a new live video from our concert in Poland @ the Goethe-Institut Pop-Up Pavillion in Breslau, Wroclaw, European Capital of Culture 2016. It was very special, not only because Carsten´s Grandfather originally came from there, but it was also the first Institut FATIMA live concert in 4 Years and we didn´t really rehearse like always.
